  The United States Navy MK12 Special Purpose Rifle or SPR is a designated marksman rifle that is designed to fulfil a marksman role that has a greater effective range compared to the M4 carbine but shorter than the SR-25. This particular GHK MK12 MOD 1 is based on the rifle that was at a time adopted by the United States Army Rangers and the United States Marine Corp. This rifle has been heavily featured in many modern blockbuster war movies such as “American Sniper” and “Lone Survivor”.

  The GHK MK12 MOD 1 is a Colt licensed gas operated airsoft rifle that is utilizing the GHK V2 M4 system with some new features. Externally, the receiver is made of T6061 forged aluminum alloy, which is very similar to what real AR receivers are made of. Other than that, parts such as the muzzle brake, collar, bolt carrier, outer barrel, fire control and hammer are made of either steel or CNC steel. This rifle also features a fixed buttstock, which is actually the first GHK AR that features one.

  Internally the gun features a new hop-up system that can be adjusted much easier than the older variant and there is a tool included for quicker Hop-up adjustments.

  Lastly, the rifle comes with a 20 round short gas magazine but it will also take all versions of GHK M4 / AR / G5 / GMAG gas magazines.
