The extreme fastfocus eyepiece ensures a generous eyebox superior field of view and optimal diopter adjustment in the field. A rugged 34mm maintube twin bias spring erector system and two turn CDS Zero Lock finger click adjustments assure maximum adjustment range and precision.
All Leupold VX-6HD rifle scopes include one free Custom Ballistic Dial with purchase. Leupold second generation ArgonKrypton waterproofing resists the effects of thermal shock much more efficiently than standard nitrogen.

The Leupold VX-6HD Rifle Scope utilizes the Twilight Max™ Light Management System to give you bright, high-definition images at dawn and dusk when game is most active. A 6:1 zoom ratio and an extreme fast-focus eyepiece ensures you can go from a wide field of view to up close and personal in an instant.
A generous eye box enables you to get your eye behind the rifle scope and achieve a full, clear sight picture effortlessly, whether setting up for long shots or acquiring your target quickly on dangerous game.
With a mere press of a button, the CDS-ZL2 (Custom Dial System ZeroLock 2) elevation dial allows you to dial up two turns of elevation. On the 2nd revolution of the elevation dial, the button sinks in to show you are on the 2nd turn so you can dial up for extended ranges and never lose your place.

The CDS-ZL2 elevation dial locks into place with the ZeroLock windage dial so they cannot be inadvertently rotated out of zero. A free Custom Ballistic Dial is included with the purchase of every Leupold VX-6 HD Rifle Scope. Every CDS dial features 1/4-MOA click finger adjustments with no dial covers to lose. Guard-Ion™ lens coating sheds rain, dirt, and fingerprints; and it is extremely durable and scratch resistant. The 30mm main tube, made of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, is waterproof and fogproof.

With a slightly smaller objective lens than its 50mm counterpart, the VX®-6HD 3-18x44mm can do it all, while packing a little less weight.
